So the part no. 1 shows pretty much the summarized version of what I did in the Anime Expo 2010.
As part of attending the Anime conventions, I have always torn with ahem… total splurging of money from wallet. However I did always try to refrain myself on purchasing too many things in the con.
Even though I’ve spent most of my time in the Exhibition hall, I barely had time to go and look around for things I would like to buy. Most of the time I’ve spent the time waiting in line for autographs, just as I said in the previous blog post.
And now let us start with the free goodies (freebies).
free goodies are always present and obtainable, though I have to say… I am not able to obtain a certain of them, due my limitations of body weight, height and power… which I’ll explain in a bit later.
Free goodies are easily obtainable from big booths, mostly come in a form of ‘paper’ or mainly posters. Other than that some focus panels and events also giving out freebies too.
A bag, A fan, and buncha posters
The AksysGames booth provide 2 free posters, a Deathsmiles and BlazBlue Continuum Shift (BB:CS). They are obtainable by either purchasing something from their booth and also sign up to Facebook and add them to friends. I’ve obtained 2 of the Deathsmiles poster (1 for my friend) and 1 of the BB:CS poster.
The Funimation and Bandai booth provide many different posters, as I’ve obtained one of the Tokikake Shoujo, Haruhi Movie, Eden of the East and Code Geass, for free of course. I know they are giving out more stuff but its just that I didn’t have enough time to wait for the other stuff. They have this treasure hunt thingy going on and as reward you got a very good quality of the Eden of the East poster but sadly I didn’t participate.
NIS America also provide several posters, which mainly relates to their current and upcoming releases of the Anime that they’ve obtained licenses for, mainly Toradora and Persona Trinity Soul. NIS America also give out other freebies, but to get them you will have to spent a certain amount of dollars.
I am able to procure several freebies by purchasing things that I will list later on. I’ve obtained a Laharl Prinny Plushie, a Prinny PSP case, a Prinny stylus for DS, soundtrack for アンティフォナの聖歌姫Antifona no Sei Ka Hime (transliterated of Antifona Sacred Songstress, I might be incorrect bout this), and lastly I also obtained an artwork book for this too. This game released in PSP last year in Japan around October but perhaps will never make it to the states. The game itself can be said to be the successor of Rhapsody game.
MangaGamer also provides free demo for the localized and translated games, as far as I know in the first day they also giving out free fan. Other freebies are obtainable by same way as NIS America, buying their merchandise up to certain amount of dollar and you’ll get something for free. I’ve obtain a large paper bag from them and plus a hello kitty tooth brush… don’t ask… I really don’t know… why…

As for panel and events examples, here are those that I’ve attended in these 4 day event.
JAST panel are giving out their localized Eroges, figurines, etc, at the end of the panel by raffle tickets, and I was close to winning by 3 numbers too… le sigh…
Gundam focus panel they give out gundam model kits at the end of the panel and QA sessions.
On the Indecent Otaku Show they have been throwing very good freebies to the crowd but… due my body limitations I am not able to obtain anything during the ‘rampage’ of flying freebies ^^;. However there’s one thing I am able to obtain at the show and that is a free T-shirt from Otakufuel.
Makenai Band in the stage but look at those goodies… they later got thrown to crowd and its a mess that you can expect ^^;…
Even Danny Choo’s panel he mentioned that he’s giving out 2 Black Rock Shooter Figma for lucky attendees, if we will put down a remarks on the photo that he took during the panel.
Okay now its time for the things I’ve bought and I shall call it goodies ^^
Before I attend the AX, I already have made up my mind on what I am looking for and bought. And as a restraint to my impulsive buying behavior, I have set aside a certain amount of cash for buying things in the Exhibition Halls, which works pretty well for me.

Out from all those shopping list I am able to obtain all of them but the Trinity Universe, which is not a bad thing (though I am not happy ><) as I am able secured more funds to buy some other things.

and yep thats pretty much sums up this part of the AX 2010 goodies and freebies I got this year. I have to say this year is much better than last year.
In any case I’ll post one more part of which will include other things such as misc. photos and also the most important and my achievements of getting 11 signatures ^^/ total this time.

Wait… by the way… did I mentioned that a friend of mine got 3 SETS of Eri Kitamura and Yui Horie signatures!! YES you heard me 3 toradora related goods and 2 signatures on each of them!!
