Introduction

Hi folks, as I mentioned previously, that I will be working on the other story route and this time. I’ve choose the route of Ange/Battler. For those who perhaps not know, Ushiromiya Ange is Battler’s little sister, though she was born from a different mother (Kyrie), Battler really care about Ange as she does to him, it would be best if I would save the story for those who are willing to watch the Anime, which unfortunately being bashed by fans, OR reading the actual Sound Novel (especially Episode 4: Alliance of the Golden Witch). and once again I would like to express my gratitude to 竜騎士07, 07th Expansion and Witch Hunt Translations Group for introducing me into this series.

Well then Let us started on the story translations shall we?

Route Ange/Battler

Team of a Brother and a Sister

*Note: Please note that some part of script i wrote in regular English, that is due to a Katakana reading and I tend to just read it off like that.

*Note: I’ve taken the liberty to shorten the character names ‘Beatrice to Beato’, and ‘Eva Beatrice to Evatrice’

*Note: Side event took place randomly and I’ve only played once on this combination. I do reckon there are more, however this is just a side event and it does hit the spot although it has no relations with the game story, normally it is just personal remarks, thoughts, or comments of the characters of their partners.

Beginning Event

Battler：もう迷われえぜ。俺たちが帰るべき場所は明白だ。
I wont hesitate anymore. The place where we need to return to is clear to me.

Playtime's over, I am taking you home

Ange: ええ。今度こそ帰りましょう。私たちの世界へ。
Yes, lets us return to our world this time.

Battler: 可愛い妹を１２年も待たせちまった。これ以上はごめんだぜ。。。。ああ、駄目だな、全然駄目だぜ。
I’ve let my cute sister waited for over 12 years. I cant let this happen again. …aa, Its useless, its all useless.

Ange: 魔女の茶番飽き飽きだわ。お兄ちゃんを１９９８年に連れ戻す！
I am getting sick of the witch’s game Onii-chan, I am taking you back to year 1998!

Side Event:

Ange: お兄ちゃん、かっこいい！ 今の、もっと見せて、もっと見せて！
Onii-chan, what you did earlier was so cool! show me again! show me again!

Battler: おう！可愛い妹の前で、いくらでもServiceしてるぜ！
sure! I’ll do as many service as I can, in front of my cute little sister!

EVENT: vs. Eva-Beatrice/Siesta410 (Before Fight)

Evatrice: あら、ANGEじゅあない。帰らぬ兄を探して、１２年も遡ったのかしらあ？
Ara, if it isn’t it Ange? You went 12 years back to look for your missing brother?

Ange: ええ、そよう。そして１２年前にしちゃ若返り過ぎだわ、EVA-伯母さん
Yes, that is correct. And the 12 years ago of you seems overly too young, Eva-obasan.

Siesta410：にっひひひ  女はいくつになっても女の子にえ
Nihihi no matter how old women are, they’re still girls nii.

Battler:
そういう魔女ごっこはもうお仕舞いにしようぜ。EVA伯母さん
 Eva-obasan you should end your Magical Girl charade now.

Someone needs to stop pretending to be a witch

Evatrice:
私を叔母と呼ばないで！ 我こそはUSHIROMIYA家当主 EVA-BEATRICE
Stop calling me oba-san! I am the head of Ushiromiya Family, Eva-Beatrice

新しき黄金の魔女に対する敬意を学んで。ハラワタぶちまけて死んじゃえばあ？！
You shall be taught to respect to the new Golden Witch. Why dont you cut your gut open and die!?
*note: Evatrice has most disturbing way to ask people to die, hard to translate hahaha… sorry folks.

EVENT: vs. Eva-Beatrice/Siesta410 (After Fight)

Ange: 決着ね 過去は譲る。でも未来は私たちが紡ぐわ
I’ve decided to give up the past. But I’ll tackle for our future.

Evatrice:
過去は変わらない、未来変わらない。
何を足掻こうとも、誰も連れ帰ることは出来ないのよ。
私はにGEORGEが連れ戻せないように。。。！
the past will not change, the future wont change, no matter how you struggle, you cant bring anyone back. as I cant bring George back to me…!

No matter how hard I try, I cant bring George back to me

Ange: それを足掻くのが私の趣味なの。じゃね。SEE YOU AGAIN, HAVE A NICE DAY.
Struggling is apparently something that i am interested into. Goodbye, See you again, have a nice day.

Siesta410: 大事なのは結果じゃなく、過程にえ。 未練を断ち切るためにもにえ
Whats the most important is not the end result, but the process nii. and to do so you will have to severe your affection nii. (needs translations fix on this one

Battler: 。。。必ず帰るさ。これ以上、妹を、。。。ANGEをまたせられねえんだ.
…I shall return without fail. if this keeps going, my little sister…Ange, she will have to wait for me again.

EVENT: vs. Beatrice/Lucifer (Before Fight)

Battler: BEATO。何だかんだてお前とは楽しいかったぜ。しかしこれで、お別れだ。
Beato, No matter how many times, its been fun together with you. However, this must be ended.

Beato: 妾が、そなたというお気に入りの玩具を手放すと思うか？ 愚か者め！
are you trying to take away my favorite toy? you fool!

Ange: お兄ちゃんはあんたの玩具じゃない！もうあんたの遊びには付き合わない！
Onii-chan is not your toy! Stop associating him as your plaything!

Beato: いいや、話がの玩具だ。そして妾の手を離れれば砂と消える。愚かなる妹よ、変えること叶わぬ過去よりBATTLERを連れ帰れると、誰に唆されたやら！
No, he’s my toy. Whoever is taking him away shall disappear. Foolish sister, who even gave you the idea to take Battler away from the past anyway!

そなたを招いたことそのものが、
千年の魔女たちの戯れであることを知り絶望せよ！！
You who invited yourself, kneel down and despair. Know that the thousand old witches loves a good sport!!

Ange: 。。。だからね、そういう魔女ごっこにもううんざりなのよ！
私はおにいちゃんを、絶対に１９９８年に連れ帰る！

… This is why, I am sick with this all witches-to-be game. I will definitely take Onii-chan back to 1998 with me!

なぜなら私は、１９９８年のBEATRICEなのよ！！
that is because, I am the Beatrice of year 1998

As Beatrice of 1998; I am taking him back!

Beato: ほう、そなたが１２年の未来我が称号を引き継ぐのか！
hoo,so you are the successor of my title 12 years in the future!

面白い、気に入ったぞ、ANGE-BEATRICE！！
我が名とBATTLER、奪えるものなら奪えってみせよ！

EVENT: vs. Beatrice/Lucifer (After Fight)

Beato: CONGRATULATION, ANGE! そなたこそがあたらしき黄金の魔女！
Congratulations, Ange! You are the new Golden Witch!

そして何も変えられぬ未来に絶望するがいい！
くっくくくわっははっはっひゃあ！！
However, fall in despair for knowing that there is no change in your future! kukkukuwahhahahhahhya!!

Nasty laugh as ever

Ange: 。。。知ってたわ。
この戦いは全て、私の妄想、自己満足。。。
… I know already. All this battle, it is just my delusions, my self-satisfaction…

何を足掻いたって、。。。過去も未来もお兄ちゃんも、。。。何も変られないって
No matter how i struggled… the past, the future, and even Onii-chan, … nothing will change.

Beato: BATTLERは帰るだろうさ、１９８６年にな。だが、兄の帰らぬ１９９８年のそなたのもどへは、
誰も帰ってきたりはしない！
Battler can return, but back to 1986. But as for you, no one will return with you to the year 1998.

知りつつ足掻くことの何と愚かにして愉快なことがあ！！ わっはははっはっはあーきゃっきゃっきゃっはっは！！
You’ve knew and struggled, what foolish and hilarious this is! Wahhahahahhahaakyakkyakkyahhahha!!

FINAL EVENT (part 1)

Its hard to say goodbye

Ange: 。。。ありがとう、お兄ちゃん。短い間だけど、楽しかった。
…Thank you, Onii-chan. Even when the time is short, I’ve had my fun.

Battler: いいや、俺は帰るぜ
No, I will return

Ange: 。。。お兄ちゃん。。。
…Onii-chan…

Battler: 何年かけてでも必ず帰る。だから、待っていろ。絶対に
No matter how many years it’ll take, I will definitely return. and for that reason you must wait.

Ange: うん。。。。まってるから。。。
だから、絶対帰って来て。。。。お兄ちゃん。。。
Un…i’ll wait for you…
that is why, you must return… Onii-chan…

FINAL EVENT (part 2)

12 years of wait

Ange：。。。１２年待ったわ。 。。。だからもう、私からお兄ちゃんに会いに行くわ
…I’ve waited 12 years. …thats why, I am going to meet Onii-chan.

お父さん、お母さん、お兄ちゃん。。。今から行くから、受け止めてね。。。
Otou-san, Oka-san, Onii-chan…
I am going now, please take me…

？？？：駄目だな。。。。全然駄目だぜ！
it is useless… it is all useless!

駄目だな。。。。全然駄目だぜ

This time, there are more script than i expected, i am glad i finally able to finish this one. There were notes scattered here and there but I will update it to have it fixed up by this weekend hopefully

Live by Cooking, not by Instant Ramen or Frozen Food

Okay I am creating this blog here to further explaining some conversation that I have with friends off in twitter several days ago, one of the most fundamental things we need to survive and that is to EAT! Although actually we can survive just by water but then again no energies or other stuff you need for your bodies.

Anyways this is a long read so I do hope this will help. I do not quote that much from other site, this is just a personal experience I would like to share with you guys, and as disclaimer there might be something you find it disagree-able, but I don’t mind, please let me know, after all being disagree and agreeing with something sparks conversation no? Also most of these are a view for living alone a single.

okay lets begin.

As some of you might have known, I’ve started to live alone now. Living alone, shucks … since I have take care of everything including cooking, I used to have my sister to do the cooking but not anymore and with my spending habit on my… ahem… expensive hobbies, eating tends to be a bit of an issue. Often my fellow friend will mentioned instant noodles or frozen foods are way to go. I would somewhat disagree into that notion now, if you ever looked into their nutrition facts, you’ll surprise how much bad stuff they have that is a no go.

This only only 1/2 block, do the math and double the stuff!

As for instant noodles goes, it’ll be best to mix it with something healthier, if you Google for ‘Ramen Hacks’ you’ll find some site that will give you a good tip to make your Ramen more healthier. Since Ramen is not the topic here I’ll leave at that. I have not much comment on frozen food, they claim healthy and all that, but with healthier ones comes with more expensive frozen food, the cheap ones are not that healthy at all.

In any case, I cant agree more that sometimes good way to save is actually by cooking inside your own house, there’s nothing wrong with eating out with friends and family sometimes, but cooking yourself is still a best bet, unless if you don’t have enough spare time to cook then this would be a trouble, or if you are prioritizing something else than your body needs, you’ll have problem. and plus cooking by yourself tends to be healthier than eating outside, imagine all those grease and oil they are using on restaurants especially Chinese fast food ergh… and here’s an example

looks delicious? probably? but, its super greasy!

I’ve started my first week with this food, a mishmash of different kind of stuff, and I assure you its super greasy, price wise well only about $5 and check it out I can eat it 2x (the other half I put off for lunch). But then again, if I had to put up to that kind of greasy food. I worried about my body wellness.

Then on the next week here’s what I tried to make, a spaghetti with pre-made curry, which I just need to reheat the curry pack and pour it in, but ended up turned into something else hahaha… talk about mix-ed feelings on cooking turned into something else. I pretty much just cooked it random stuff whatever that is available on my fridge at that time.

Doesn’t look that bad right?

The next week I’ve decided try do cook something else. Went to store and looked around at that time I’ve found the Japanese curry block and this time I calculate their cost (approximation), unlike my previous spaghetti and pork bun.

• 2 carrots, 2 potatoes, 3 broccoli crowns costs less than $3.00
• 1 lbs of boneless chicken costs about $3.50
• House Curry blocks costs about $4.00

now with all these ingredients bought I’ve spent total of about less than $15 in the end.

Went home and prepare everything and here’s what I’ve cooked.

Not too bad right? and guess what? I’ve cook almost entire pot! which allows for another 5 to 6 servings. If you went out for a food you’ll spend at least $15 for 1 Japanese curry meal, by cooking at home you’ll spent less than $15 that will give you 5 to 6 Japanese curry meal. If you are resilient enough and don’t mind eating the same thing all over, then you’ll be good to go.

and the next couple weeks I went to groceries shopping and here’s what i got

• box of tofu (some people don’t like this, I know, but heck they are good for your health :p) and they cost about $2.00
• 1 lbs of ground pork costs about $2.50
• 1 pack of hot dog sausages about $2.00, but only used about 4 sausages
• mushrooms, veggies etc about $6.00 (more veggies this time)
• Mabo Tofu sauce and a stir fry sauce costs about $6.00

this time I’ve cooked for 2 different dish and that costs me less than $20.

So the first one I’ve cooked Mabo Tofu with only 1/2 of the mentioned above ingredients, while the other half cooked for the second dish (I don’t know what i should call it though).

In any case once done, those two are separate into the ones I’ll put into freezer and the ones I’ll put on regular fridge, since I will be eating those two dish for two weeks.

okay so I’ve covered some dishes that I’ve cooked within 3 different weeks and add them out they’ll cost less than about $40. Now if its just dish you wont be full, so for that you’ll have to buy rice. With $20 you can get a 20 lbs decent Jasmine rice or about 15 lbs for those high quality good tasting Japanese/Korean rice. If you want healthier then by all means go for the brown rice, though i am no expert on that, cant say much about it.

Dish that I don’t know what to call

So in the end total approximation spending for almost a month worth of food is about $60. If we go back with a calculation for a decent meal for $15 a plate that’s only good for 4 meal but with cooking yourself at home you’ll save so much more. Wouldn’t you call this a saving?

There you have it, with these experiences I’ve beginning to like cooking. However it is wrong to say that I refuse to go out and eat. I will do so when hang out with friends and when I am not at home, but when I can go home and cook why not?

So for all the Otaku out there, don’t be lazy! start to cook! it’ll save some monies so you can spend them into something else.
